Award-Winning Game Company Introduces “JabberJot”
New Word Game Challenges Players to Get Creative
(Santa Monica, CA) – December 6, 2005 – Morning Star Games proudly
introduces “JabberJot,” a hilarious word game where players
create all kinds of wild tales. In each round, players race against the
timer to jot out a story using three pictures, three words and a theme
that are different each time. The stories don’t have to make
sense – the wackier the better!
When time is up, a player can win the challenge if the jabber (the
player judging) likes that player’s story the best. Players who
score enough challenge cards win the game.
“You'll fall on the floor laughing when you hear the outrageous stories
your friends and family create.” says Allen Wolf, Morning Star Games
President and the game’s creator. “Even though all the players
are working from the same pictures and words, it is always amazing how
different and creative each story can be.”
Wolf was inspired to create the game after taking an improvisational
class with The Groundlings, a Los Angeles based theater group that has
produced much of the cast of “Saturday Night Live.” “Improvising
different characters and scenes in that class inspired me to create an
environment for people to create improvisational stories.”
Players can post their winning JabberJot stories, read other player’s
stories and vote for their favorites online at
www.MorningStarGames.com. Each month, the “Story of the
Month” will be chosen from the ten highest rated stories. “This
is a unique way for players to interact with other players and share
their stories with the world.” Wolf says.
JabberJot is the fourth game introduced by Morning Star Games.
Games can be purchased at specialty toy and game stores or on the web at MorningStarGames.com. MSRP is $29.99.
